With over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Lachlan began his career in Strata Management before transitioning to Building & Facilities Management. Since then, he has managed an extensive portfolio of properties and consulted on major projects, including support for National Clients.
As Managing Director of The Core Group, Lachlan oversees all aspects of the business, from driving new growth and client acquisition to managing day-to-day client relationships, retention, and customer experience. His hands-on approach and on-ground knowledge ensure every client receives a tailored management plan designed to meet their unique goals. He is also committed to ensuring The Core Group is a sustainable, client-focused business, delivering exceptional service now and building long-term value for the future.
Lachlan is deeply passionate about improving industry standards and advocating for positive change that benefits both clients and the wider property sector.
Outside of work, most importantly, Lachlan is a devoted family man and proud father of three. Known for being fun-loving and sociable, always up for a good time with great people, whether catching up with old friends or making new connections. He enjoys staying active by playing soccer and is a passionate sports fan.
With nearly a decade of industry experience, Toby brings a strong operational background and leadership mindset to Core. Before co-founding the business, he served as Operations Manager at a leading building management company, overseeing large portfolios and driving performance across both people and processes.
Toby is passionate about solving problems, streamlining service delivery, and staying closely involved in the day-to-day operations. He thrives on turning challenges into practical outcomes and believes in leading from the front.
His vision for Core is to build a company that raises the bar in our industry — not by being the biggest, but by being the most trusted. That means staying accessible, delivering real value, and building long-term partnerships with customers and staff alike.
Outside of work, Toby is a dedicated family man with two young children. He enjoys swimming, staying active, and cheering on the Sydney Roosters.
With deep expertise across property technology and the management of numerous asset classes, Joe has built a reputation for leading high-growth strategies and expanding market presence across Australia, Southeast Asia and MENA.
With over 12 years at the helm of an international prop-tech company, Joe played a pivotal role in scaling the business from a local start-up in Australia and Southeast Asia, into one of the industry’s leading players. His exposure to the entire business lifecycle; from educating a cottage industry, to executing and unlocking new market opportunities, right through to the commercial acumen required in a saturated marketplace, was instrumental in positioning the company for a successful acquisition by a global private equity firm.
He is passionate about The Core Group raising the standards in the industry, helping clients navigate complexity, unlocking value and creating more efficiently run and sustainable buildings. With a strong belief that good communication creates profitable outcomes across all stakeholder groups, Joe sees traditional ‘good’ communication benchmarks as the baseline for how The Core Group conducts its business.
Outside of work, you will find Joe with his two young children, actively involved in various community sports and desperately hoping the Canberra Raiders can break their premiership drought.
